Thread: My Crazy L4D2 idea

Ok, so now that everything is in L4D2 would anyone be interested in a long ass exhibition match in some form of VS, I'm imagining it like this, see how many people are interested, make two big teams or something with everyone and playthrough the complete set of campaigns, in order.

No Mercy
Crash Course
Death Toll
Dead Air
Blood Harvest
The Sacrifice
Dead Center
The Passing
Dark Carnival
Swamp Fever
Hard Rain
The Parish
and if people whine for it enough Cold Stream.

After playing through the campaigns the total score is added together(maybe a bonus for winning a leg of the game) to crown the true kings of L4D2 at TPG

(Or if you are all too big of babies to be interested in this we could always just play campaign through all of these whatever difficulty as long as it's higher than easy)

meh, it'd have to be incredibly close teams. Otherwise it'd be 18 hours of one team loosing, no one wants that.

I'd do it. But what Bunnicula said. Teams would have to be vetted closely for balance. Thor and Dawkins can't be anywhere near each other for instance.

Yeah, I know, this is just a idea that's been floating around in my head for awhile that I wanted to put out there, it's still pretty rough. I've been thinking of ways it could work though, like maybe see who was interested and pick teams but do it more like a Fantasy League where they play the games like normal tpg random teams or something then each player gets points (maybe a forth of the final score?) to bring back to his team. Or we could give bonus points or something for winning campaigns? Like HP Bonus maybe? I don't know, all I know is that this is just my rambling and this needs way more work on it before it's ready to go.
