Thread: Pax east

I would love to go spread the TPG gospel, but I am planning a trip to Mexico next month, then hope to do to EVE Vegas in October. A trip to Boston in April might be a hard sale(sell) to the wife.

Maybe a smaller pond would be better?
We might have a better shot at running a tourney there within a year or two (sponsored, as in not a guerilla tourney). If we were to make a name for ourselves at a smaller lan, it might help us get a bigger foot in the door at QC, and run their tourneys.

there isnt a section of pax that is the focus of pax. if any section went down it wouldnt destroy pax.

pax is basically a mecca for GAMERS. the keyword is GAMERS. No matter what kind of gamer you recognize as theres something for you to do. There are people that spend all 3 (4 for prime now) days sitting in 1 area and not going anywhere else. Giant rooms dedicated to PC freeplay, BYOC, Tabletop, Console Freeplay, Classic Console Freeplay, Console Tournament, PC tournament, tabletop tournament, and at least 6 theaters with every kind of panel focusing on all kinds of games.

Its highly recommended experience for everyone that is a gamer. When i get home I will take a picture of the giant map I have of the BCEC (where pax east is held) so you can see how the areas were setup this past pax.

I will be enforcing at prime as well and likely all american based paxes moving forward.

Yes pax is huge. I'd love to go, never had the opportunity, but that requires checking on financials and available time off between myself and the team I'm on. That's getting close to official kickoff/crunch time for our electronic health record replacement project. Not to mention and additional charge(s) in addition to QC
