I have made the drive from PHX to DAL at least 4 times, and I must say it is the most painful drive known to man. I have driven the same number of hours to Chicago, Florida, and almost as many to effing Nebraska, and those don't even come close to the sheer boredom. FLY!

Cross North Dakota sometime. Flat, treeless nothing, followed by hours of flat, treeless nothing. If a potato falls off of a truck, it can be seen for 20 miles.

True dat, the drive from ABQ to PHX is boredom enough. And I've never seen west texas.... Fedex yourself would be more interesting.

Honestly you could live your whole life in Texas without going to the West part and be totally fine that you didn't. That's how much it doesn't matter. It's so bad that the government has a nuclear weapons facility there near Amarillo.

My brother and I are in Flagstaff, we have to decide too whether or not to fly out of phoenix or to drive.

I will be there Wednesday night through Sunday morning as of right now. It's only a 30 minute drive now so cant complain.

Try driving from Indianapolis to South Florida...sure, Indiana Kentucky and Tenn all go buy in about the first 6 hours...aint nothing to it...THEN 12 HOURS OF GA AND FL!!!!!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY
