If we win I'll buy you Five Guys. :9

A burger I mean, not five actual guys.

Now I just need to find a PC to use... or maybe bring my own and hope for a seat.

Or search the Quake forums for "FCFS" with no quotes. It appears that all of the experienced Quakeconners say the same thing - there are always seats in the BYOC avialable for FCFS.

We need help from the TTPer's on the confirmed list - they need to try and save seats for us. Maybe setup the TTP area out of the mainstream/popular areas to ensure that we get seated together.

In any event - I'll try and save a seat or two if I can to create a mini TTP pod
I just checked QC page and there are ~6600 people registered. I think I read somewhere there are 3000 BYOC slots. In my experience, if something is free to register for, the registration list is usually grossly inflated. People that think they might go will register and then just never show. So it might be that only 3000 of those 6600 people actually go, and of those 3000 only 2000 actually BYOC... in that hypothetical example there would be empty slots everywhere.

Me, I took the opposite route and didn't register at all... but I will try tomorrow after 9am.

So yeh... people getting in on Thursday... save a whole damn row of seats for TTPer's. Burn and I will be there Friday morning. Can I buy a TTP shirt on site?

    Re: QC TF2 6v6 Team?

I just read a lot of the posts on the QC forums that Ira was talking about and found lots of good info:

    1) Seats have never all filled up before. Usually entire rows stay open in the back sections.
    2) Seat saving is usually respected.
    3) If you do want to "save" an entire row... it may be best to do it in the back (see #1).

Also, your "number" on the waiting list means nothing UNLESS all seats fill up, which they most likely won't.

Being in the back could be cool too since it would mean we'd have a wall behind us instead of another row of people. More privacy/security, etc.
