Is Quakecon always the very start of august?

the last two years I believe it actually started on the 14th (or around there). But i'm prone to being wrong. Oh so wrong.

Ok, it's just my birthday is august 9th and when Quakecon is would determine what year I would go if I do end up going, as I would want to be whatever the drinking age down there is.

Unless you are with your parents / spouse who is of age. Texas does still have that nifty drinking law, right?

As long as it was supplied by and you are with a parent/legal guardian.

Restaurants/Bars still have the right to refuse even if you are with your parent.

Just order it and hand it to your kid and the restaurant cant really say shit. The guardian served the minor not the establishment. Also, if you are under age, your not supposed to be able to pay for others drinks.
