Thread: Player

So I brought this up before and we agreed that it shouldn't be used because of its intent. Now that I joined [usbdt] I tagged up with Player as a user name and no one had a problem with it. I think it's because I separated myself from such a generic term by distinguishing myself. I decided to drop [usbdt] for a clan in progress, -ibkb-. I thought everything was fine because I had it around for awhile. I connected to the server, and a few rounds later, the admin gave me one round to change my name... or else...

I went to change my name right away and then started being persistent every round through admin chat to ask why "Player -ibkb-" is not good enough but unfortunately no response. Anyways I just wanted to know your thoughts. Is it just a personal grudge against me, or is this a shared idea amongst TPG? I only ask because I know a lot of the admins on here and they never even bring it up in admin chat during game play.

This is the only time I will discuss this. Because if it is a big deal to you guys, I'll just give up but I do see inconsistency. The name is what majority of people know me by.
