Hey Street-

I appreciate you coming to the website and communicating your side of things in a mature manner. Its obvious you have experience in the CS world and seem to understand that coaching is a great way to keep more people coming back to the servers for more when they need help.

But here is where I believe you made the mistake. You say you had some friends(s) over at your place playing who were new and you thought it would be cool to allow them to play CSS at TPG- on objective side. You know CS has a high learning curve, even if you are behind them trying to help them out. I have always encouraged new players to stick around and learn, but in your circumstance, playing with bots or on a server that does not have as much pressure and rules would have been a better choice...don't you agree?

What seems to have happened (and this is where I back Irish), is that you have regulars who play here that know our rules and they most likely alerted Irish that there were multiple rule breakers, including no calls being made or calls not being followed, as well as bunnyhopping. As an admin entering the server, you sometimes have no time to engage in conversation, especially when you say you had multiple people backing you up. That is an indication that the situation became a server disruption, in which Irish went ahead and pulled the trigger so the other players who play here on a daily basis and pay for a reserve slot do not have to sit there and deal with the situation.

Many of our best community members and admins were banned in similar circumstances because the forum is the proper place to have such discussions- not the servers.

Irish did what he had to do to keep servers running TPG style....now if he did not do it in the best polite fashion, im not sure. But I do know that he made the correct decision to ban.

So in retrospect, don't you agree that your new friends should have played somewhere else that has looser rules in order to get their feet wet?

Anywhere I've ever run/helped moderate wouldn't allow their admins go on like that. I've laid things out honestly, so if you feel that he acted in line with how you want your community represented, then I'm over it. I bet that kind of behavior (again... screaming, cussing, etc. Seriously man, you catch more flies with honey...) isn't just stopping ME from becoming a regular here/forking any of my money over to your organization lol. Like I said, there were 4-5 others in there just as turned off by the way he went about his message. I couldn't even tell the dude was an admin until the slaying happened lol. His calls were just profanity filled commands issued too late, followed by intense screaming and name calling should you not perform well. The actions of a child. Then, to our surprise, were getting slayed and banned by this dude XD You must see where I'm coming from, too?

Also i am still confused on what the admin abuse was? You stated i cussed? was that as an admin? Here is what happened.

I come into a server that is a mess. I see nobody making calls, people bunny hopping, and very few regs on. I immediately start making calls to get the team into shape. Obviously calls that you do not like, because you do not like rushing. So right off the bat you get mad. Then I see your friends, which at the time I did not even know or care, not following the call. They get slayed, warned over global chat to follow the call. A server in a mess is not fun for everyone, not just the regs, but for the admins as well. As an admin i love to play the game. You can legit-proof my id an see that I love to play the game. It is my job to slay, ban, kick.

So what exactly are you claiming i did wrong? Please let me know, i would love to hear it in order to get better as an admin.

Irish, you did the right thing...its obvious people, including bum, did not want to rush because they believe it was not the right call. That is not being a teamplayer and you used your own methods to communicate that to the team. If one or two people believe a straight rush will not work, then it won't. You need the WHOLE team to be committed in order for calls to work.

I am finding no abuse here and bum...believe me....we do not need you or your money.
