10-11-12, 01:53 PM #13-Day Site Ban?
I am bringing this subject up with the utter most respect and professionalism I possibly can. My intentions are not to disrespect or negatively question the administration or moderators. I would just like clarification.
This thread was created by Shenanigans and was locked immediately and he was issued an 3 day site ban for "rehashing an issue that was locked".

This thread was created by Jett Rush and has yet to be locked and no 3 day site ban has been issued when it too is "rehashing" the same issue.

Why is this so? Did you just not get to it yet Enf? I am not trying to get Rush in trouble purposely, actually I have already talked to him about the issue, but I just think it is really unfair that one member gets an immediate site ban and one member seems to get a pass. That goes for anyone who creates a thread that even mentions the issue at hand, because that could essentially spiral into the same BS that originally occurred, right?
Like I said, if Enf just hasn't gotten around to it, fine. But I would hope we are fair to everyone and issue the same punishment to the same infractions, cause at this moment it doesn't look that way.

Re: 3-Day Site Ban?
I won't speak for enf - but based on my review of the threads Shen got off easy. enf may have stated that his issue with Shen was that he reopened a closed conversation, that however is not sole issue. Shen basically made a post calling out the Site Mods/Admins - he's lucky he only got 3 days.
As to rush - not the same issue.

Re: 3-Day Site Ban?
Shenanigan's post was carrying on with a thread that was locked just to put in his two cents and bring up more drama whereas Rush's post is just pointing out that the demeanor in game is different than in the forums. I would say he's teetering on the brink of a lock given the timing of it, but the content was more reaffirming the end result of the original locked thread rather than stirring the pot. There's nothing wrong with taking away from the original locked thread and trying to bring everyone together (which is what Wraith's thread would also fall under).
Now if these threads go back to arguing about the topic that was locked, then these threads would get locked as well, but the original intentions of these two look to be spurring the camaraderie of the community rather than hurting it.

Then why wouldn't he state the site ban was for that reason. Enf made it very clear in his post that the thread was locked and the site banned was issued for bringing up the same subject as before and continuing the "merry-go round" all over again. Then Rush does the same thing and nothing has been done. If I were not to have brought this up here, yes maybe some could guess there was more, but many would be under the assumption Shen was only site banned for bringing up the same issue.
Like I said before, all I ask is that we be fair and not stating the real issue is not being fair.
