Situation: As a frequent player on the Texas ...TeamPlayers... BF2142 + NS Ranked server, I have nothing but respect for those who choose to share their resources with the gaming community by creating and maintaining a topnotch public server. On Thursday, June 21th, 2007, I was horrified to find myself banned from a server I have been frequenting for several months.

If any of the server admins would care to view the server stats for the round taking place around 12:40am Central Time, they would note that I was having a spectacular round. I perpetrated some 35 kills while gunning in the transport ship. I did not, at any time, teamkill or disparage any other players, either through chat or VoIP.

All of the sudden, in mid-flight, I found myself banned permanently from a server I have come to trust for solid integrity and teamwork. In fact, I often play in the same squad as other server admins with great results.

After visiting this site and looking at the clan list, my only thought is that one of two players from the Black Dragon clan decided that I was too good for their taste at the moment. The fact that I am wasting valuable playing time right now to type this is a testament to the gross injustice that was done to me tonight.

Playing on your server is a privilege; one that I never take for granted. If you are able to investigate this further, I believe you will come to the same conclusion that I did - I was unjustly banned in an act of admin abuse. If you unable to determine that I was wrongly banned, I still appreciate any effort put forth looking into this matter, and I will miss contributing to the great play on your server.

The last thing I want to do is wrongly accuse anyone, but the only two players on the server at the time who might have done this are:

Brendan1962

Please accept my sincerest apology if I have incorrectly cast blame on either of these two players.

That's a very serious accusation that you've leveled at TTP, and I feel that there would be some reason for you to be banned.

Either way, someone should be here to explain your ban to you soon enough.

From what I can clearly see is that you did not follow orders. Sitting in the transport chopper racking up kills is most likely not what your squad leader wanted you to do.

According to the log, you were banned for suspicious play and suspicious accuracy.

Which means the banning admin had enough to convince him you were cheating. So, in this case, it's your job to convince us that you weren't. In a ban post. Not in admin abuse.

Why does no one read the message that pops up saying why they were banned?

I'm sorry, but my squad leader was X-Graywolf-X. He was the pilot of the transport and he was telling me directly through VoIP where to shoot. I was most definitely "following orders." I apologize for not posting in the correct place. Thank you for providing a link.

The message said "Banned by admin or for excessive teamkills." There was no message about "suspicious accuracy."

*shrugs* Never been banned myself, truthfully. I just know that when kicked it gives you the reason you were kicked for.

Either way, I would suggest taking this to banned forums. It will not be reacted to as kindly here.
