I got new problem now. I'm on chapter "Surface Tension" and what I think is I have to open some door with help of security guard, but problem is I killed both security guards what I found and now I cant continue so does this means I have to start whole game from the beginning?
Edit: Wait a minute, seems like I still can continue so I guess I dont need your help anymore. :waves:

Hello, its me once again with new problem with Half Life games..
I was just about to start to play HL2 once again when I noticed this:

Is it normal that the graphics are that bad even when I have full graphic setting beside v-sync? Especially the train bridge looks very bad.
Edit: Btw, are there any mods for HL2 that would improve its graphics?

No, no it shouldn't. The draw-distance shouldn't be that great--though it may just be an error with the menu's backdrop. Is it like that in-game?
Here's a screenshot I just took of that same place with full settings at 1650x1080:
As far as mods to make it look better go, the only one I can think of off the top of my head is the FakeFactory Cinematic Mod which, while it does well to up the graphics of the game, tends to be shunned by a lot Half-Life fans (myself included) as the maker took serious creative liberty when making it. Comes down to opinion, though, so take a look: FakeFactory Cinematic Mod.Mature-Gamers.com

Okay thanks. I don't think the problem is the draw distance but yeah it is kinda stupid that it is so long when the far away things look so bad. But yeah, thanks. I should also try to see what it looks like in the game. :)
Edit: Umm, how do I install the Cinematic Mod?
