Thread: Delayed rush = camping?

I play here all the time, and I understand the no objective team camping rule. It's there for a reason. I also see sometimes when that team does camp they will get slayed. Sometimes however, this gets a little carried away. I don't remember which admin it was, and I don't have logs, but I'd like to bring up the issue. This was the one and only time I was ever slayed and it bugged me. It was on Dust, we, T's, were rushing every time and getting butchered. We decided to do a delayed rush to confuse them and get in without having to face the entire team. We waited and were slayed before 30 seconds had even passed! I believe it was 5 of the team members were slayed at once before 30 seconds into the round, because we didn't rush.

During the same game, the bomb guy ran forward and died, I was going to smoke the entrances so I could grab the bomb without being shot, but before I stepped out I was slayed for camping.

Now I understand the rule and I love seeing campers get punished, but this is a little carried away. While I don't remember excatly who it was, I don't think it matters. I would just be happy to see it punished with a little more reserve. It's one thing to slay campers, it's another to just slay anyone who doesn't rush in the first 30 seconds.

Other than that one incident, amazing server.

DPimpJedi, I don't think I was playing durning the "abuse" you are reporting, but I do want to say that this thread is not the place to have a debate over strategy. This thread is a place for player's voices to be heard so all admins can be kept in check if warm was done. No one likes an admin on a power trip or acting to protect his clan, team or anything else besides keeping the server "sucka free" as they say. Rest asure that most of the admins will read this and guarantee that every high admin will read it.

Question, How do I mute voice in this game? and in versus?

I have tried turning off voice.

I have tried muting each player in the lobby.

Nothing seems to work, ever since the new patch.

I have nothing against people who use mics, but I can't stand listening to people telling me how to play my game. Also the swearing, name calling, and young kids on there. Ruining my game experience, that I PAYED for.

I am not a newb and I don't need some one telling me to get into a room or they will kick me. lol Or I must do this or that. lol I just want to play the game.

Play in single player if you don't want to interact with others.

Team work is the main part of this game, and voice chat is a huge part of that.

Turning VC off is disabling a huge part of a game and you'll be missing out on a growing part of the game.

Don't disable the VC, find a different server if people are bothering you on your current one.
