Locked to prevent another 6 pages of replies while this gets looked over.
I asked heavy to take a look as I cant really qualify where 'messing around' crosses the line. Topic will be unlocked if and when necessary.

If the Admin was guilty in this as well, then we will discuss punishment for him as well.
If the Admin chooses to warn a player, he doesn't have to do it in player chat. From what it sounds like, the Admin warned the player for Teamkilling. It is not allowed.
Calling out an Admin in the gameserver is a bannable offense. If you had a complaint on the Admin, it should have been brought here and not announced in game period.
Typically the DoD server has FF off, but if you select to turn FF ON, then you choose to obey the server rules along with it and that includes, NO TEAMKILLING.
You can't say it is ok today for everybody to join the server and teamkill each other but after 15 minutes say we are going to obey the rules of Texas ...TeamPlayers... now, it was ok then but not now. Not going to fly.
You want FF on, fine but you kill the enemy, not your teamates.

As for what Commander said, rules are rules. This can get a little grey with the DOD community since it is generally the same 4-6 players that work to prime the server on a daily basis. There are times when we are so bored that we do turn on FF and horse around. In this instance, I would definately treat this as one of those situations.
Insane reacted poorly to this situation and he should have communicated with prock in a different manner. They were not playing seriously... on Orange Arena... and the common sense verdict is that Insane should have asked prock to quit, and if it continued, then flex the admin muscle. Insane may have missed when prock said he wanted to kill everyone, which means that he was unaware of prock's intentions.
Insane was taking his authoritative position seriously, and I cannot blame him for that. He should have spoken to prock before reacting the way he did. His decision was wrong, but does not warrant a punishment given the map and environment at the time.
I have not had any issues with prock in the past. Sometimes he seems a little hot-headed, but that is just my opinion and could be swayed a bit during the heat of the battle. Prock should not have returned to the server to argue with insane and out him an admin. My suggestion to prock would have been to ask the admin to balance the teams out a bit, or even volunteer to switch teams with another player.
Both parties reacted poorly, but insane pulled the trigger by kicking prock. You simply cannot kick someone without giving them time to respond to your warning. 2nd offense in this situation would have been understandable... but prock only killed you once... it was not mean spirited... it was just for fun.
This topic is over. We have not had an admin abuse thread for DOD since only God knows when... And this one being from a regular sort of concerns me. Let's not take this stuff personal... we got it out of our systems and now we can start playing again.
