Thread: Abuse on CoD4 server.

I'm not going to continue this past this post. Arguing isn't going to accomplish a thing. I'll have to use my mic more, which doesn't bother me since I do normally when not trying to learn a map.

I think that was the problem here though. He never saw a warning saying 'hey use your mic' or he would've. I know ya'll don't have to warn or anything, but when it's something like that, kicking him isn't going to click on a light that says hey use your mic. He was voice chatting with me through steam because we are both new and trying to help each other learn the map and all the other things that go into the game.
As I said I mean no offense to the admin, but stating my opinion as someone that was on at the time and equally having trouble.

You may have been in the loop since you were in a different voice chat application with him but others on  his team were not.  We had admins on your team and we did warn him through console.  We had multiple admins on during the time of this kick and it was coordinated.  Kicking is our way of educating and getting peoples attention when they don't see the warnings.  We realize this is a fast paced game and not every piece of text said in game can be seen.  This is why this was a kick.

Additionally I think when you are a new player it is the perfect time to be in chat with people who know the game, not in a separate chat. I have never used STEAM voice chat so I'm not quite sure how it works but if you can't communicate in game while using it or you were using it exclusively I wouldn't recommend it. I would have gladly helped out any new player and cut them some additional slack if they voiced that in game. I know any other admin would also have offered up help as would our regulars. If you did and I missed it then I apologize but I didn't see anything about it in game.

That chat log does not contain admin chat and I have to have a high admin look it up to see what was said during that time.  The admins recall warning you though.
