DonVito (aka Smooth Criminal),

I was the admin who warned you to quit camping and pursue the objective. At the time, I was unaware who you were; I simply knew that "Smooth Criminal" was on the periphery of the action on Countdown Sabotage, racking up kills and accumulating airstrikes. What you were NOT doing was going anywhere near the bomb or the bomb carriers. You were content to let your teammates do that, and die in the process. You are a regular on the TTP servers and you certainly know that this is not appropriate behavior, and that it is not tolerated.

Frankly, had I known that it was you and not someone I thought was new to the server, you would have received your third and final ban from the COD 4 server. Despite your history of two prior bans, and your knowledge of the way TTP and this server in particular work, you STILL did not pursue the objective, and when warned, argued with the admin. I was being EXTREMELY lenient in not banning you outright immediately.

For the record, you may have planted the bomb by the time my warning was posted. That does not excuse the behavior you were exhibiting prior to that. Nor does it excuse arguing with an admin.

Any witnesses to this "abuse" may feel free to post.

Vito, I was on the servers this evening, and saw things go down.

What Viktor says is true, you were not going for the objective for several minutes, over the course of a round and half of another. You were camping in a corner, racking up kills with your RPD so you could call in airstrikes and choppers. You're a reg Vito, you know that the rule is to follow the call/help your team/ be a teamplayer/ etc. At All Times. There is no "Ok you can slack off and camp for a bit" idea in the rules.

Earlier, you accused me of mousewheeling. I told you to take a demo, and post it on the forums if you felt I, or someone else was exploiting. You started sitting in spec, and I assumed you were recording. I promptly began a demo of myself so that should you throw up a demo and make a formal accusation, I would have my own video to back myself up and defend myself against your accusations. Little did I know, you would later start camping, I would hear a complaint, and I went spec to see if you were indeed camping. What I found (and recorded) was you keeping to the sides of the action, taking no part in the assistance of your team, and fulfilling the objective which needed doing. After a minute of your camping, you began to move towards the bomb site again (in a help-your-team-move). At this time, admins sitting in Spec began using commands, and you instantly began to help your team again, by recovering the downed bomb and planting it.

Viktor told you as an admin then to go for the objective. You talked back by saying that you planted the bomb. You then told the admin to "Calm down". The admin then told you not to argue, and to take your complaints to the forums. You then said in caps "OMG HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY I PLANTED THE DAMN BOMB AND WAS GOING AFTER THE DAMN OBJECTIVE GOSH I WILL TAKE IT TO THE FORUMS".

This is the video I recorded. Edits were done to cut out useless/ irrelevant things, and also to hide admin names.

Vito, the balls in your court. What are you going to do with it? Thats what I personally want to know.

tonight I witnessed don vito camp and fail to push the objective.

camping with a RPD behind the crashed helo X2. which your got two air strikes and a helo.

agian with teh RPD then setting behind the opposing teams spawn while your defend icon was up, in no way in postion to defend the bomb, let alone even see the bomb if someone was defusing.

your comments to console tonight are inexcusable, and will be posted as soon as the logs are available, and alone in its self worth a ban.

since were here talking let me say a few other things.

over the last few weeks ive seen you camp, fail to purse the objective, and fail to follow calls on S&d adequately. Always continually fringe gaming VS. our rules.

There have been players complaints from stick and solo of disrupting game behavior and others whom were not REGS.

Ok so i guess its my turn then. One, the camping behind the heli, well with a baby thats a year old and wants the hell out of his crib (my nephew) you have to do it some day. So i forgot to say i was afk, sorry for not saying i was. Second, I always look at the tele-text going ovet the public screens and i do not remember that the console(admin) saying I was camping before I planted the bomb. That warning came the on the next round. Way after i planted the bomb and was camping to defend and then kaboom. Third, I was flanking them and then flanking back when they got the bomb. When the bomb was down after sometime I knew it was time to double back and chagre it. Flanking is a good way on how to make the enemy line twitch for a while. Fourth, I will admit that i did camp behind the heli but only to stop the enemy from going into the front. And finaly, i had three ocassions that the bomb was down in front of me so i grabed it but died while doing so.

Summon, tell me how to upload my demos so i can take the wheelbinding case somewhere other than here. Also i cant see the demo either. All their is, is a big space in the middle of your case.

Now about those airstrikes, I did indeed have two of them and used them to spwan kill you summon but i didnt camp to keep them, nor get two more to get a heli. The second airtike i got when i was getting my nephew out of his crib to let him play with the rest of his family in the other room.

While I was spectating you, DonVito, you were clearly not AFK. You were, as you admitted, "flanking them." What I witnessed was you near the enemy spawn ("behind the heli") mowing the enemy down with the RPD, and accumulating kills for air strikes. What you were NOT doing was pursuing the bomb at that time. During the time I was in spec, the bomb was being pushed toward your spawn and, therefore, the bomb site you should have been defending. When the bomb carrier went down, you made no move toward the bomb. The enemy could have been near your bombsite and you were on the other side of the map.

As I said, by the time my warning went out, you had apparently changed tactics. Those subsequent tactics are not the issue.

I leave it to the admin community to decide if this warning (not even a kick or ban!) constitutes admin abuse.

One thing I'd like to second.The first time i was behind the heli was when the bomb was planted and I was "mowwing down" the enemy when they got in or near the bomb site. Also a reason why I might have been on the other side of the map when the bomb was planted or down was maybe because of a spwan or me running away from an airstrike from either side. On a map that small for Sabotage I stay in a good area to "mow down" the enemy whic in this case was the front and shooting from the heli. The second time I was behind the heli was when i was camping due to I was AFK. I was not trying to stay alive to kill the bastard that defused the bomb. I make sure most of the team does not come into the site as best I can. Nor, did I change my tactis due to the warning. Team asked me to give them more firepower upfront so I did. So with that added into this case, I would like to know if I was fluent about this.

BULLSHIT! your trying to convice me I saw a blue truck when I saw a red truck.

I know what i saw , there was many other good players on the server that game, none NONE of them were over 1-1, YOU were the only one with a +++++ KDR
32-9 if i recall, now on most maps it can be done with out question, however this map is a total meat grinder and if your doing your job you die...ALOT, from nades and just getting blinded sided and if you get anywre near the bomb your sure to get whacked.

how you even seen the video yet? I think its all there black and white cut and dried.

Frist thing I see is you moving away from the bomb??? why?

Even a guy in the vid that spawned in front of you went to help his team, yet you continuted to move away from the bomb and take a postion shooting into the spawn zone of the other team. why???

none of this was anything anyone would do AFK. (thou edited)

none of what I observed off video showed you as AFK

in fact I dont recall ever seen you AFK. I scan for that type of stuff many many times a game, never did i see you AFK. if you were AFK it was not for any length of time.

omg and like one sentence admin abuse claims are liek teh lamezorsz.

if you're not going to take the time, in your first post of accusing an admin of abuse, to write it out, explain, and justify the claim, then there is now claim. Even then, looking at those who were present and speaking above.....there was no abuse.
