    It is kinda sad but the dog was probably going to die anyway if it was in that critical of a condition. Also, 95 MPH IS fast, regardless of what anyone here states. Speed limit is 55 all throughout Illinois, some places 60, so that is 35-40 miles over the speed limit.

    95 is fast, but depending on the traffic density, it could have been safe to travel that speed.
