Thread: CS:S admin

I don't know who the admin was, but it was around 8pm central when this happened.

Myself and a clan mate, Postal, were playing on your CS:S server and a recruit, pechep, followed us in. When pechep came in he asked us if his application had been accepted on our site. We told him yes and that he could copy and paste the tags from our name (TL has 2 special characters in the tag, so CPing is a must in game).

When the round was over pechep was slayed at the start of the round for advertising TL.

How is his question advertising? Perhaps a Webster's dictionary for Christmas is in order for whoever slayed him. We weren't doing or saying anything that was disrupting gameplay or taking away from the TTP server.

We have the same rule on our D2 server and if this situation would've happened in ours I don't think myself or any of our admins would have slayed for such. Just kind of pety and over the top IMO. :-\

I was not the slaying admin, but I have been around your guys. I told Sleven to come and check out our servers sometime (I'm H?b btw, I've played on your servers a couple of times).

Anyways, we have a Zero Tolerance policy on advertising in our servers. The admin must have interpreted what he was asking/saying wrong. We will look into it.

Also, we run our servers COMPLETELY different than The Legion. We are a team play server, meaning we use mics, call strats, enemies, etc.. And we enforce those things strictly, a long with the rest of our rules.

As you can tell. Stick around man, and tell Sleven to come by the site and register... a long with the rest of ya'll. If you guys ever want to scrim or play any clans... We have tons to choose from in our Resident Clans. Just make sure they're a CS:S clan, because we host MANY games and have MANY clans.

After reviewing the logs, he was warned and slayed for bunny hopping. He's lucky he was not banned for being a smart ass to the admin with the, "may I have another" comment after he was slayed once.

Abuse claim denied. Also next time, instead of trying to plead a case for a friend... have them come in and do it, not you. You weren't slayed, he was.
