Conduct Unbecoming An Admin: DigitalMaverick

Digital, I tried to solve this outside the forum with PM's but your aggressive and threatening tones. As well as a threat, has made me move to post this.

For everyone that doesn't know:

On Saturday October 27th, sometime around 10:00 just before we were beginning to start the first round. Commander called for a cease fire. We were having a hard time getting everyone to stop. After a little bit of time went by I had at least the majority of my team at my base. Things seemed to be calming down when Digital comes to my base and proceeds to start killing people on my team. This wasn't a one time thing, he just wouldn't stop. That really didn't bug me that much. It wasn't until his remark that he did chat all saying: "I was exercising executive power" quote was uncalled for by any person in power. Especially when he was disobeying his commander's orders.

I know someone is going to say to me, but you fired artillery on our base after the cease fire was called. In my defense, I was in the commander screen where it is very hard to see chat messages. NHbird asked me if I wanted to get kicked after it happened on the all chat right after and I responded that I was sorry and didn't see the message.

The reason I am posting this is not just because of DigitalMaverick's actions on the battlefield. I was not going to post just because of that. I would have let it go. DigitalMaverick's aggressive and threatening comments forced me to post this.

Also, by leaving at 11:00 with the lame excuse that you had to sleep, you made yourself look bad. A few people were put off by this. Some people had to leave early because of good reasons, but they left at the end of a round. Leaving in the middle of a round was uncalled for.

My comment about him leaving early was because I believe that he left early because the teams were slightly uneven 13 to 10 because some people joined in the middle of the round that should not have. This was not in my control or NHbird's. Digital knew what he signed up for and the action wasn't one of a teamplayer. This little bit is not Admin Abuse but I am clarifying what I said in the PM.

OK, I do not see why this is even in this forum.........The arguments provided also are not 100% accurate and I am not going in to more detail on this for This should not even be in this forum.........If this is moved, and more details are needed, then I will provide more accurate details if need be. I am not very happy with this lopsided mess.....!

The high admins take issues like this one very seriously. If you are not involved in this situation, then I suggest not to post. The situation will be looked into.

So let me get this straight.....

this was during some sort of match?

Our admins are responsible for their actions in public. For private matches, clan issues, etc.......that is business between the admin (who is now merely a player) and the ones organizing/leading the match.

Of course, now that it's here....we have to go through it.....but matches and public admin-ship have little to do with eachother. Unless Digital was using his admin powers to kick members of your team during a match, just so his side could win.....I can understand.

But if this is merely "digital was killing people in the match, and that made us mad".......then don't invite him back to a match. Whoever was leading digital's team, who was essentially IN CHARGE of digitals actions, then needs to deal with digital.

Well lets try to some this up in one paragraph. NHBIRD aka Commander.

1.Called a cease fire to organize the teams. Every stop firing eventually, the teams got organized. Then bird says over the mic in 1 mic I am going to change the map. So I figure when the hell I am already over at the US Base I am gonna kill a couple people before we leave.

2.In fact the game got started 30 mins late because of the people who did show up were late plus a couple didnt show up. I guess 23 out 34 aint bad.

3. Plus I made a joking comment "That I made Executive Decision" or something in the chat.

I personally don't understand what bug Trauma has up his butt. Plus if I remember correctly my squadmates and my commander were doing ROTFLMAO and LOL's.

So obviously didnt interupt the setting up of teams, and didnt interupt the game match following. The wtf is the problem Trauma beside you causing nothing by unneccessary Drama for the mama.

not very professional of a respone, digital.

however, as it appears, the events are:

map was changing, in order to begin the match.

digital was not in control of his team, or the server (since commander was running the match).

Orders were given to cease fire, and digital couldn't help himself but to shoot soldiers in his vicinity. Perhaps he should have been slayed (if we could do that in BF), but.....this is a player vs player issue. And NOT an admin abuse issue.
