Admin abuse complaint

all your counter points against finger is just y'all grasping for straws you banned him for saying he was going to go to big nothing else.

you messed up, you abused your power and you should be punished. all this other stuff is just you and your bro's doing damage control. and trying to tact on whatever else y'all can so we don't have to admit an admin made a mistake. just be a man, admit you made a mistake and we can move on . quit turning this into a witch hunt against finger. If he is as difficult as some of y'all claim well then you'll eventually get a legitimate sot at him~

In the mean time hes right y'all are wrong.

Trigger, should have been removed, because he was constantly badgering Salt to ban a guy that Trigger wanted him to ban. Trigger is not an Admin and it is not his decision to make.

Trigger, you can make your request to an Admin and you knew he was an Admin.

Once that request is made, it is out of your hands and up to him and the other Admins he is communicating with on what and what not to do.

My post above seems to sum up the situation pretty well, whether you meant that or not, but that was how it was taken.

Once you make your request in game and wish to continue with it, you know how to take a SS and post it on the forums and you know that we do not discuss the Admin or what he is or is not doing in game. Any further discussion comes to the forums.

You were removed because the Admin felt that you went way past reporting a problem player in game, not Admin abuse although, I can see that he may have felt like you were abusing the situation with him, knowing he was an Admin and he chose to use that reason.

I was not kicked after this incident, I was banned a week after. The initial reason was that I threatened an admin. I emphatically deny this. The reason for my ban has now morphed into admin abuse predicated on the supposed fact that I knew Saltspring was an admin. I have stated repeatedly that I did not know and I still stand by that claim. I have repeatedly apologized for acting un-professionally in the presence of another player as my outburst was not directed at him. I at no time told Saltspring to ban anyone as I was not aware he was an admin. The admin's choice to ban me for perceived abuse is at his discretion and I accept and understand that.

In closing I would like to repeat, for the 27th time that I apologize for acting un-professionally in front of other players. I should have acted better. I understand this. This concludes my admin abuse complaint.

Fair enough Trigger.

You know we don't always ban on the spot, especially if it is being discussed by the Admins on whether something that occurred, warrants action and not always is handled right then.

I think we have come to a close on this one.

Kicking and screaming and making a scene in-game is dumb. Whether the manager's on duty, or the regular waitstaff is on the floor......scene's and temper tantrum's are unacceptable. We kick and ban all the time for this stuff.

Was saltspring's ban a bit harsh? Was it a bit early or quick to be issued...that's up to the BF2 admins to decide.

But you coming in here acting like saying in-game, "I'm gonna tell bigdog"....like some tattling 4 year old..... that's insulting to the admins on duty, that's insulting to me, as if you'd expect me to get involved, or supercede the authority and autonomy of the admins that are actually IN-GAME doing their jobs as they see fit....it's just insulting in general. No one likes tattle tales.

and now...you've blown this up into some giant war of words, when at the end of the day, it's your fault this happened, it's your dumb actions and words in game that caused it, and now it's you, blowing up and making a scene, yet again, making it worse here.

For someone that wants the issue to be over and done with, who wants to get back to gaming, who wants to get unbanned....... does this seem like a good idea....all this jibber jabber?
