Thread: Admins from eGo?...

Moments ago, I was kicked out of the Texas Teamplayers TF2 server for the most outrageous reason. It set me off so much that I registered to say this:

I joined the server, playing badlands, about 2 minutes into gameplay I got a admin message saying: Shrooms please change your name because it is a drug reference. And I just kinda sat there for a good 20 seconds in awe.. Thinking, Is there a rule against this? Is this not an M rated game? Does the name Shrooms have to be referred to a drug reference? And why is it an issue? It is not like I was being loud and obnoxious by using agressive tactics to fellow teamplayers influencing them to start using hallucinogens... Never having this issue before.. I replied: "Are you serious?" The response was a kick seconds later stating: "You were kicked for not being a teamplayer". It infuriated me to be kicked for such a reason because I actually was being credit to team. NO I am not mistaking you, yes I double checked that I didn't join those dumb G rated eGo servers,
I chose to post this because I was kicked for a dumb reason, kicked for the wrong reason, (atleast say I was kicked for a drug reference in my name..), and to clear up the confusion because right now I refuse to change my name to happy elephants or cuddly bunny. Now who was this admin?

We allow cussing on our servers, trash talk, etc..

But we do NOT allow drug references, porn, racial comments, or anything of the sort. We do realize this game is for a mature audience, but you also need to realize kids play this game as well.

Everything in-game is done by admin discretion and we do not discuss those matters in-game. It disrupts game play and the flow of the server, so everything is brought into the forums. You should of just said, "Ok, admin" and changed it.

I see no admin abuse. Locked.

It could have saved you some awe time if you had taken a few minutes and read the rules and regulations of our server.

Yes, there is a rule against drug references. We do not promote or condone any illegal activity or references at Texas ...TeamPlayers... or allow it.

Sorry you got your feeling hurt over your name, but you chose to use that name and you chose not to read the rules and regulations, before you decided to play on our server.

All of our Admins have been instructed to remove any players that fall in this category. You however, received a warning, which the Admins do not have to give. Usually the kick or the ban is the warning.

Now while you are here, browse around and read up on the rules and check out the forums. You will know if you fit in here, pretty quick.

Hopefully I can make a statement to the admins of the texas teamplayer servers and other admins alike that JUSTICE WILL BE HAD

We will raid the server, unknown time currently with names referring to drug references, or you can copy my name.

More raids will come to other servers with dumb admins stay tuned
