Thread: Abuse from anonymous admin

Was playing and about 5 minutes ago I was banned from the Texas Team Players TF2 server: Top 5 for no apparent reason, along with 2 other people. I don't know why but the admin was acting extremely immature and moody. We didn't break any rules, and did no wrong doing. Just a mild sarcastic joke that was extremely light in tone, and if that is completely intolerated then I don't think I wanna play here anymore.

Demo is split into 3 parts since I was kicked once (for no reason mind you), but you can see they take place directly one after the other.

I was the admin who kicked and eventually banned you.

I'll have to wait for server logs, however after repeatedly warning the server, and eventually kicking someone you along with several other players began talking about how the admin had such a large ego and being sarcastic when I told the server not to question the admin's decisions.

That warranted your kick. We do not discuss admin actions in game, its why we have the forums here at TTP.

When you returned, you threatened to have my admin powers revoked and continued complaining. That is what earned you a temporary ban. As stated above, we do not discuss admin actions in game and you coming back in and threatening an admin as well as to keep going on and on about the decisions I made in game is more than enough for a ban.

It was only a 1-hour ban so you will be able to play on our servers again, however I would suggest you become thoroughly aware with the rules and regulations here at TTP in regards to both teamplay and your attitude towards admins.

When we said "eGO" we were referring to the clan, not you. eGO is a well known clan that has very abusive admins across their servers, I highly doubt you've never heard of them. Me joining back and threatening you was unwarranted and I apologize, however I believe my first kick was unwarranted as well, I only made 1 semi-sarcastic comment that was clearly a joke.

I like this server, I wanna keep playing here as it's one of the few servers left that are any good.

Your comments in the chat logs are what I had a problem with Ghetto.

"I don't like the admin actions"
"wow someone is moody"
"LOL EGO"

All of these were directed at me trying to do my job on the server, which is to provide a teamplay environment on the servers.

We don't take kindly to being insulted on the servers.

You've already expressed regret for your comments after the kick, so I won't touch on that any more.

You are free to play here on the servers after your 1 hour is up, however I would strongly urge you to reconsider your attitude while on our servers.

"LOL EGO" was in no way directed at you, as I already said, I was laughing because the other guy mentioned the clan eGO and that clan pretty much is a joke.

Seriously if I can't make one silly remark without getting the ban hammer then I don't think I wanna play here anymore, I mean hell, you'll probably ban me just for this post! "I don't like the admin actions" was such an obvious joke, and you took it very personally and offensively, so I said you we're acting a bit moody, and honestly kicking 3 people in a row for absurd reasons IS moody.

I'm sorry if I'm agitating you and I don't mean to piss anybody off, but I am a person who's been banned for saying "hi" once on another server, and another server banned for "reason given: asdkjfa;lsdkf" and another one for having the name "Shiz"... the list goes on and on for being banned for retarded/no reasons, and as such while none of these have to do with TTP itself, I've become extremely weary of any admin on any server.

I've also been reading the other threads and apparently if you aren't playing the way the admins think you should then you should be slayed/kicked.

Ok seriously though I was banned for saying "hi". I'm pretty sure no one else in all of TF2 can say that, and I just can't get over it, sorry for the rant.
