Thread: Kicked for waiting for jet

They kicked me and told me to come here
So here I am

I join on Dragon Valley
I spawn in
I run to the j10 hangar
I notice the cobra is 8-0
Killing cobras is my specialty
I'm there maybe 1 min
I get a warning for waiting for jet
A bout a minute later i get kicked for "waiting for jet"
I think it was SST Blue Maxx
I rejoin
I notice plane just got shot down
I get that jet
I die
I go do some other stuff in our base since we only had the one flag
I notice SST Jester just died in plane
I go and get in the J10
Jester calls me a fag
I fly around abit
I kill a cobra
Get a few kills
I fly over the hangar several time to heal
I notice Jester is there waiting in the hangar where the jet I am in spawns
For about 4-5 mins
How come SST Jester doesn't get kicked for "waiting for a jet"
But, I do?
Seems odd

Then new round starts and a few people initiate a kick vote against me?
What did I do to have people want to kick me?
So I ask them why you want to kick me and I get kicked again and told to come to the forum

I've been playing here a long time on and off
Never had a problem waiting for jets before
Was it just the admin on that shift that was so anal about it?


If you kick a top pilot on Dragon
Then the jets and helos dominate
That is why I wait for the jets
because often I am the only on who can kill the helo ho's
So I decide to get in a jet and kill them myself
But..I can't wait for a jet
So the helos rule
What am I to do?

I now realize that "non team play" is the catch all to kick people you don't like
Some severs it is "disruptive play"

I'm like #300 in a jet
How is kicking me on Dragon when we are losing teamplay?
You want me to get in a FAV or something?
My skills are best utilized in the air

Some clarity on the unpublished "waiting for jet" kick clause would be appreciated
I was gonna camp in the Essex to kill the j10's but I was afarid I would get kicked

I mostly play at night with my Dead Meat homies on TeamSpeak

I think you left out a few details maybe out of convenience for yourself. How about the constant chat spamming? How about trying to call out the admins? How about insulting the server in general? I'm sure i'm leaving something out but someone else will pick that up.

We're glad you have 650 hours in a jet but that does not mean anything here. This is a team play server meaning you join squads you follow the squad leaders orders the squad leader follows the commanders orders. No exceptions and as exsplained to you in game admins are anonomous. You should have been banned the minute you started calling them out and insulting the server. I myself told you enough is enough

I wasn't on your team but i've been playing on this server for almost 3 years and it takes longer than 1 minute to get kicked waiting for a jet. So why not come clean on the whole story?

Had you taken the advise one of several people gave you the second kick would have never happened and you wouldn't be doing this post.

I would be the admin whom kicked you the second time for trying to discuss your matters in game. I politely told you what you needed to do, and you kept going on about Jester and making smart ass comments so I decided to kick you. If you feel you've been treated unfairly then you need to at least provide some information, times, and evidence as to why you were treated unfairly.Presenting your case in a comprehensible manner is also nice because hitting enter after every 3-4 words makes it very hard to take you seriously.

Admins usually will not kick you for waiting for a jet unless you've been there 100-200 tickets. You have a tendency to never ever leave the hanger unless its in a jet. Since you've built that profile around yourself, if you join mid-game and go straight to the hanger it is safe to bet that anyone who sees you will figure you've been there since the start of the game.

It also doesn't help that you disobey orders whenever I'm a commander, then make stupid comments, and get almost last place on my team when I get gold medals ground pounding. I really don't care if people talk shit to me, but here, chain of command is everything, and you're pretty much telling everyone on your team 'fuck you'. I'm kind of surprised you weren't banned, not kicked from how you've been acting, especially when I think at least two other admins were squad leaders and hearing me order you three, four, maybe five times to go to TV station. :-\

Should I add that you also said the server sucks and you were going to a different server... You made your self look like a fool talking smack on TTP and then you decided to show your face again when you said you weren't going to come back.. I think the admin had the right to kick you because you acted immature...

No, SsT are not "the" admins, nor are they a majority of admins, and neither is Jester an admin.

You were warned, first verbally, then officially using commands to get out of the hangar, almost 7 minutes after the round began (that's time enough to burn through ~100 tickets, depending on the team and map), to which your reply was "no, I'm waiting for a jet".

After you were kicked, you continued to bring the issue up, time and time again, spaming the chat in multiple instances.

You taunted and implicitly questioned the admin's decision by facetiously calling out other players, after your kick.

You deliberately called the admin out by name.

Where is the abuse? It is an absolute wonder that you were not banned. How is refusing to squad up and join the fight being a teamplayer? How is deciding to spend a big part of the round standing around waiting for a jet helping your team?

I'll tell you. It's not.

No one cares about how uber-l33t you are in a jet, or where your so-called "talents" are best utilized. You will follow your orders as given, and when an admin tells you to do something, you do it, no questions asked. This is the place you come, after the fact, to get clarity on why the admin told you to do something.

Not, as you have done, to further highlight your self-centered, jet-whoring, non-teamplayer idiocy.

PhilBole, it is obvious based in the logs that you were disruptive in game and did not comply with the admins warnings. That is why you were kicked and this was not abuse. Your medals, awards, play time, nor your jet skills mean jack shit here. Supporting your team and following orders are what matter. If I were to give the admin that dealt with your bullshit any advice it would be to have banned you for your actions. You are at a fork in the road at this point. You can either get off your high horse, get your head out of your ass and be a teamplayer or you can as you mentioned while in game, "play elsewhere". I do not give a shit which you do and I do not think anyone else does either. TTP does not need people like you that think that there skill level comes before everything else. You do not impress me much for a middle aged computer programmer.
