Kicked for suspected hacking?
At around 815PM today my team mate (-[UA]- Cipax) was kicked for suspected hacking? Is this really serious? (A) He wasn't hacking just had a awesome snipe spot and sniping is all hes does anyways and that's for a reason, (B) This isnt BF2 where if someone is suspected of doing so it can be observed by a admin. I run a server so i know the capabilities the admins have and to kick someone for "Suspected hacking" is foul.

So, if the admins suspect him of hacking they're supposed to do what exactly? Just let it lie and let a potential hacker stay on the server?
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

I think Cipax got caught up in the attempt of removing another suspected player from the server. A new 'feature' added to the most recent server release was the ability to ban by GUID... When the suspected player was banned by GUID, 8 players were disconnected. I have removed the GUID ban and re-added a name ban as we've been using. Please have Cipax attempt to reconnect to the server at his earliest convenience. Sorry about that.

Re: Kicked for suspected hacking?
I am the admin that kicked said player, and this had nothing to do with his snipping. Three separate times I had come around behind him, he snapped 180 and knifed me. Their was some slight lag at the time, which could have added to the perception of snapping. The third one however, he wouldn't have known where I was, yet he knifed me again.
Now, keep in mind that he only got kicked, but had I been recording video I would have been banned him.
I had an issue soon after the third knife and I had to leave, but before I left I did kick him for what I perceived as hacking. Again, he was only kicked and if he is clean he has nothing to fear.
We don't ban on a whim, we need evidence.

Re: Kicked for suspected hacking?
for the record I knifed Cipax twice without incident.
the only compliant about cipax in chat was from laggy calling him out for non-teamplay. which I concor. he was not going for objective on either mode. attk/def.
FYI: there is a spec mode you can enter from your spawn screen. it is a free cam there is no frist person spec mode.

I'll definitely agree with Summon. He was in my squad until I left and he consistently played sniper and hung way back and never once moved in with the rest of the squad on the objective. He was called out in chat by laggy as summon indicated.
