Thread: tf2 kick (questionable low-level abuse)

See what you have working against you is that someone on your team (could've been an admin, could've not) was trying to spark some teamwork since you guys were getting rolled. Comments that look like theyre dismissing that push (no matter the actual intent) are counteracting what he is trying to accomplish. So people that dont care to help their team are going to be taken to the curb, especially in a time like that.

I would say just take it with a grain of salt and keep the playful comments to when the atmosphere on the server is a little different...

True, while you could have ment your remark to be lighthearted and playful banter. What you have to realize is that the internet generates plenty of people who make similar comments, and are very ill tempered, trolling rather.

On the other-hand, i am rather pleased with your approach to this situation (hence my contribution of time to type this response ;)). But rather than getting upset at the past occurrences, maybe you can take comfort in the fact that, that is how seriously we take teamplay.

You have to consider it like this, we are a teamplay geared community (hence the name), so when our admins (long time regs) are playing and theres not much teamwork (of which they are used to), its understandable that they get irritated.


Either way, we dont know you, so its hard to tell in game if your one of those trolls, or a good hearted player looking to lighten the mood, thus one should consider the circumstances as enf mentioned.
