    Myrm

I am not going to sit here and argue about an obvious fact. I will simply state it, and if you disagree with it, then you may close this topic.

The fact is, is that I think someone is suspicious of cheats/activities [crashing servers or walling or aimbotting] I am entitled to spectate them. I have been through this incident before where I was speccing someone and the admin tried to kick me and I explained to him and he said it was ok for me to spectate.

    1. The admins were not watching the player via spectate if they were even watching him at all.

    2. How else am I suppose to gather evidence EFFECTIVELY unless I am in spec and can watch him from start to finish. Instead of the insisted notion that I spectate him as much as I can when I am dead during the rounds [ineffective as I do not die often]

    3. Topics like this exist for a reason.

It is not reasonable to suggest that a person spectate a player and get a demo if you will not allow the person to spectate them in the first place, only spec them while you are dead? That is unreasonable.

Bottom line is I do not see the issue or any reason note-worthy against why I cannot spectate someone I think is suspicious, and am instead told to do something very ineffective/inconvenient such as speccing him in the duration that I am dead.

    -Important data
Time : 7:30cst AWP server, Admins on = cannot call them out so PM me.

    Myrm-

I believe that I am the admin that caused you to create this post, therefore I will address it.

    1. As a player, you need to trust in the admins judgment. Most admins have been playing here for a long time, and are also privy to information that you are not. We know the players and regs alike, as well as most people's play styles. Admins are much better qualified to investigate suspicion of hacking than you are, at least as far as TPG servers are concerned. If there is a need to spec a player, its fine if you observe for a couple of rounds. But when an admin tells you twice to join up or be kicked, then you should join up . . . or be kicked. Remember, you are a player here, not an admin. It's that simple.

2 and 3. Sure you can gather evidence in spec as the server permits, but the admins word is final while in game and the server was full. Although you are encouraged to utilize the Suspicious/Problem Player thread, you are not TPG's detective. Again, trust in the admins to effectively run the servers, which also refers your constant barrage of Admin messaging. Admins are equipped to handle every situation that could arise. Just be patient and try to enjoy yourself. Admins have done a fine job creating a successful server long before you got here. They do not need your constant input with regards to running the server.

As for admin abuse, I do not see any. You were spec for too long, and didn't follow the admin's instruction to join up. Therefore, you were kicked.

I still don't see how just cause you are an admin means you are AUTOMATICALLY better than I at knowing if someone cheats. I don't see the issue in spectating a player.

But I will just cast all these aside and not participate in anything TPG-Rule related. I won't call out anyone on doing anything or how someone breaks a rule since its "constant barraging".
Thanks for informing me. Have a nice day.

I told you why admins are more qualified in my first post:

The answer is simple. The server was full and you were taking up a spot, which was also causing the teams to be uneven. Also, an admin told you to join. Twice.

Like I said before, just try to enjoy yourself and relax. Have a little faith in TPG. And as for the issue at hand, I still see no abuse.

Just because you said it doesn't make it true. Just because you or other admins are admins doesn't automatically mean you know more than I do, and that doesn't mean you are more "qualified" to tell the difference between a cheater and a player.

There's no argument here. You can close this.

    Myrm,

Don't get us wrong....we appreciate the fact that you care enough about our servers to take time out of your game, and help. We really do. It's that kind of care that turns regs into admins.

    -----but-----

As Rattler said, the Admins have the final say on the servers. Many of them have been here for years, and have busted MANY a cheater....they know the drill. This is not to say that you don't have an outlet....That is exactly what the Problem Player Sticky is for. Share your suspicions, and your demo's, and our Admins will put extra eyes on them. If you want to spec a player....fine.....please do. But when the Admins decide that enough is enough, it's time to get back to face-rocking for your team.
