Question about a kick
I was just kicked from de_inferno about 5 minutes ago and the reason given was 'command spam'. I'm not sure which admins were on at the time.
I not calling abuse but I was just wondering what this was about. I decided to ask the question here instead of logging back on and asking in game. I don't want to be disruptive.

It is server side, not admin initiated. Do you have any binds, or possibly have mousewheel set to an action, like jump?

Probably not it. The way the server is setup if you send too many commands, like jump/fire/whatever to the server too soon it thinks you are trying to use a crash exploit, so it kicks you to prevent you from crashing the server. Not sure what the threshold is though. Some of the most common are key binds that perform multiple actions, but I think our settings prevent that, or mousewheel binds. Someone else might have another idea, but that is my understanding of it.

It's something new (at least for TF2) since we went back to Mani. Bunni probably knows how to avoid accidentally triggering it.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.

Re: Question about a kick
I got kicked for it today too. At least the server reloads your score/money, so it's not that much of a hassle.

Ok - nothing to see here. And this could have been handled in the CS:S forum.

Re: Question about a kick
its gotta be a command that can be declared as spam in excess, ex a voicebind, timeleft, stats, etc.
