Admin abusing his/her power on the CS:S no AWP/Auto server

The time when this happened was about ten minutes ago so around 3:44 in Minneapolis.

So a player joined the game late and was quickly slayed for not following the call. Now some players pointed that out so the admin apologized. One player was being a bit arrogant and pointed out that the admin was 1-9 and IMO that's trash talking at best but that bugged the admin so that player was promptly permanently banned. Then the player who had been slayed said something along the lines of "what the hell?" and then he too was permanently banned. Then as the domino effect went on a third player said something, I'm not sure what and was permanently banned. The admin then said in chat something that included the exact words "I'll ban every one of you" I'm pretty sure regarding to questioning him.

At this point I was annoyed so in the chat I wrote exactly this "Well I'm off to the forums to write about admin abuse, later" and then disconnected. Yes, that was bit rude of me and I apologize for it.

I'll add that each of the bans was for questioning the admin.

I'd also like to point out that if I am banned from the server then I'm 99% sure the admin is abusing his power because the only thing I did that game was misunderstood a call (it was a long A rush but I thought it was a slowplay since they had more players than us) and I got slayed which is fair. No bunnyhopping, mic spamming, chat spamming, nothing.

If I'm wrong and I misunderstood what was going on, then I apologize for accusing the admin of admin abuse and I hope you can forgive me.

I assume by 1-9 you mean his KD? That's called outing an admin and a bannable offence. Saying "what the hell" is questioning the admins desicition in game, and a banable offence.

I am referring to his K/D and I have to completely disagree with you because people do that all the time to everyone, regular players and admins alike just to taunt them. AKA trash talking, which I've been told is encouraged.

If you could link me to the rules to be sure I'd appreciate it.

I'd also like to add that you didn't address the fact that the admin threatened to ban all of us if we questioned him. So I'm curious as to if that's o.k. or not.

Thank you for handling this in the correct manner. As you figured out it is never appropriate to question an admin's action in game, this is the proper forum. I have reveiwed the bans and the relevant chat logs and here is what I found:

1st player banned - STRIVE' StiXeD
He was banned for calling out an admin in game:

Calling our an admin is never allowed in the server - good ban. The last 2 comments may be veiwed as trash-talk, but the ban was for calling out the admin. - No abuse.

2nd player banned - c1.#Effects-eSports
He was banned for a Team Play Violation - this is a catch-all category and includes challenging an admin in game:

I haven't spoken to the admin in question but this may have been one of the players who failed to follow the call. The answer is right there - he missed the call because he had sound off. The slay may have been justified if he was off the call. If he was the player who just joined then may have been a mistake - if so by your account the admin recognized this fact. However, the player followed it up by directly challenging and disparaging the admin. Never a good idea. The ban was justified. No abuse.

3rd player banned - //eVo. | Hyper!!! [ST-CC]
He was banned for a Team Play Violation - this is a catch-all category and includes disparaging the free server we provide:

If you come in and bite the hand that is feeding you for free, i have little sympathy. There is also a veiled challenge of the admin action. Both are bannable offenses. No abuse.

He was banned for a Team Play Violation - this is a catch-all category and includes challenging an admin in game:

Clear challenge of admin actions in game - and always bannable. If he had an issue with what went down he should have followed your lead and made an abuse thread. And to top it off, in fact this player has VAC bans on record. No abuse.

Shaft, again you did the right thing. Sometimes problem players need to be dealt with, as was the case here. If you have questions about the way the admin takes action this is the appropriate forum. It is important to reveiw these types of situations to get a clear picture of what was happening in the server and how our admins are performing.
