Having something along the lines of "Hunter Races" as an official mode would be a great idea. I always felt that the series needed more play modes.

The mode being out of character for the Hunters is just silly, its a game, but to each his own. Also a mode like that would help players learn to play the Hunter (arguably the most skill based SI) before jumping into VS.

We really need a training mode for the SI, it would at least give people a shot at learning how the SI work before jumping in to versus mode.

Until then you can always use split-screen to test things out. Sucks not having the entire screen but at least you can play around and explore the maps all you want.
