Thread: BF2 reserved slot request

This is a request for a reserved slot on the BF2 server, Texas ...TeamPlayers... BF2 Ranked, for 3 months.

I accept the rules of the server and the increased responsibility and raised standards that come with a reserved slot.

I understand the cost is $5.00 per month and that no refunds can be given once my money has been received and my slot activated.

Gimme a little background on yourself, we like to make sure we know you're dedicated to the "cause" before we give you that reservist status.

Sure. 45 year old male. Been gaming since forever. I was a long time member of the LockednLoaded BF1942/BF2 clan (hence the =|LaL|= tags on my name) but that clan kind of died when we tried to transition to BF2 full time. I was the clan Treasurer (handled all dues and donations, server rentals - voice, game and web/email/forum). I like the Texas Team Players BF2 server. It is just always full. I am actually just a mediocre BF2 player but I like the game and I especially like well coordinated squad play. I am always ready to play for the team, like sitting in AA all game to at least give the fly boys something to think about, and usually play medic, assault or AT.

I have been an admin and server manager for my old clan. I think I am fair and reasonable in enforcing the rules. I don't lose my temper or get carried away.

I have played a lot on the server lately and would play more if I could get in more often. I basically like to just play the game and don't usually spend too much time in forums or discussions. I like the server rules and have no complaints and wouldn't really want to change much of anything. If I have any complaints at all it would be squad locking and that some of the better players are a bit shall we say rough on some of the less good players.

I can't seem to get my mic working in BF2 (works in everything else) but I will keep working on that and I do use the radio system and squad chat.

By profession I am a software developer and entrepreneur. I currently own a consulting company that specializes in the development of high performance automated financial trading systems, basically black box hedge fund stuff. I like to help out with technical problems and have a pretty good understanding of distributed systems, multi-agent simulation systems and networking and can help people understand and fix problems in a variety of technical areas.
