Thread: What is Squad

Seeing that Merritt was more interested in being the first to post rather than doing and putting something informative up I will share with those that aren't in the know yet about Squad. For those that have been waiting for that next good tactical shooter this might be it. I say might be as I have not yet played it yet. Maybe someone who has played it can chime in.

I thought I heard it was supposed to be out this month... is that not the case? The site said TBD.

It is suppose to go into early access on the 15th. It looks like the same deal as usual you buy now you get it at a discounted price and you get to play through the various stages of development. I know that will turn some peoples noses up but This isnt some stupid survival game this is more of a game like PR which was a happy medium between something like Arma's milsim and battlefields more arena style gameplay. That fact leads me to lean towards an actual finished product in a reasonable amount of time can be achieved (I hope).

Talking about it. At this time private dedicated servers are not an option but eventually it will be possible.
