Thread: Ship Talk

I tried out the Sabre a couple of times this weekend. Very nice. Very quick response. So quick in fact it was very hard to track other ships and keep them in my sights when I was using 4 Tarantula 870's. I may have to try gimbal mounts on this ship. It also seemed to lose weapons and thrusters very quickly due to damage a couple of times. I'm not sure if this was due to the update or not.

2.4 Alpha update and played a Mustang Alpha. It is a good starter ship decent speed and agility.
Upgraded to an Avenger Titan, which was i little bit slower at 210 compared to the 230 of the Mustang Alpha.
The Avenger Titan was cool looking and had a bed in it, hopefully more will be added. The cargo bay is completely empty but large feeling.
Upgraded that to a Hornet Ghost, which handled good and had more weapons. Put a ball turrent on it from the Super Hornet adding to more weapon slots. Super cool cockpit. In the future the Avenger will have mods for it to make it better so, I liked it the most for it versatility, but the Hornets are good fighters and the Super Hornet has a back seat where a person can co pilot and be turret gunner. For an Alpha version of the game it is playable, but the Avenger is a little buggy but the work around is crouch down before entering crew area. The mastang work around is to turn slowly then crouch down to enter pilot seat.
