Re: Star Wars Battlefront Beta
There is no denying it, you're right. On the flip side, it would also be a shame that we as a community miss the opportunity to take advantage of what has been given to us. We need members plain and simple. Create Star Wars Teamspeak channels, an all talk and a team based one. Give them a try or we're just shooting ourselves in the foot by not participating.

You were either in a minority, or you didn't wait the 5 minutes it took to get it fixed. If it was broken at launch (and I don't think it was), it was fixed for everyone almost immediately. BF3 is the one that tried to have it but failed miserably. Aside from some poorly optimized maps, and some absolute shit maps, BF4 has been pretty damn solid going on years now.
Get your damn rig built, and get your ass in there with us.

Oh absolutely. Even though we can't host it, we will do everything we can for our peeps who want to play. Creating TS channels is so easy, that even I can do it. TS channels, TPG Steam/Origin groups (if possible), TPG Platoons/Legions/ Bands of Ruffians, whatever we can do, we most certainly will.

2/3 of the player count, no Galactic Conquest, no community servers, $50 season pass - EA publishing at it's finest. BF4 had all the pre-order deluxe bullshit but they told you on day one every DLC that premium would get you, you knew almost exactly what the game was when you bought it, it had a full Single Player campaign (even though nobody really cared), but it was there, you get your money's worth.
Titanfall was $60 for maybe six months, then it dropped to $30 and I feel $30 was a fantastic price for it given the amount of content there, then they made the DLC free. Very good choice. It still has a large player base, they still patch it, and you can pick it up for $5 every so often. EA has the ability to do some things right, but what I've seen from battlefront so far makes me want to cry. I hope the game is fantastic but I'm definitely going to wait for the TPG early adopters and reveiws before hopping on board with this one.
