I highly recommend Reckoning to any RPG lover!

Anyone that likes RPG's, Diablo, God of War, Dragon Age, World of Warcraft, and/or 'hack and slash' type games should definitely pick this up.

Story - Great. Comparable to Dragon Age and Skyrim, but manageable enough so that you don't get overwhelmed. Skills and decisions also produce significant story outcomes that don't feel like a generic plug. Overall a very good set of characters, stories, and side stories that will keep most players interested, entertained, and satisfied.

    Cutscenes and Voices - Good.

    Graphics and World Detail
    - Good. Cartoon style that is comparable to World of Warcraft and Fable. Although many buildings seem to share a generic cookie cutter design, the parts of the world and environment that matter are unique and detailed enough to the point where you can tell that a lot of thought and consideration was put into their design.

Game Mechanics and Battle System - Great. It's a 'hack and slash', action packed fighting system that keeps gameplay exciting. There are a decent number of different attack, spells, and combos to keep most players entertained.

Customization - Great. There are many simple types of customization, that when put all together, make for a simple and fun way to personalize your character to your liking and style. You can also reset your skills and rebuild your character in the game!

Dungeons, Leveling, and Economy - Good. Leveling doesn't feel like a grind and it's a good balance between enjoying the items and skills you have in your current level while still looking forward to the new ones. The dungeons are also nice. Most are short, but it's still fun and interesting to explore. They really put time and effort to include the little things that make exploring new places interesting and enjoyable. Boss fights are also good, from the built up, to presentation, to the actual fight, and conclusion.

Overall, this game is just great. Simply great. I've been wanting a game like this forever. It takes all the things I love from all other RPG's and synergizes them very nicely. I can't wait for a multiplayer or MMORPG version of this game.

Once it comes down in price, I'll end up getting it.

I'm right there with you Pimp. The game looks really nice, but asking $60 for a game is excessive, even for the big name titles.
    I miss you guys....-tczyl2-png

totally understandable, and normally i would, too, but im recovering from knee surgery so i was just sitting at home doing 'nothing' so i figured it be good to buy now and put in some gaming hours before going back to work. i just wish i had more time to play.

this game is worth every penny at $60, so if you guys get it for less thats an even better deal for you guys
