    I found a possible solution in another forum. Here is what the poster said:



    "if your left4dead.exe by gameui.dll, you can fix it by this way

    you name MUST only contain english, number or symbol.

    My player name was contain a chinese word, after i remove it, i can play single play and use lobby to join game. no more gameui.dll error.
