Create-A-Mutation
Been lurking L4DF for a while now and my lazy ass finally decided to register :waves: anyway, since i have an idea for what i think would be a pretty neat mutation, and with me being a noob at modding, i figure ill start a compilation of mutation ideas/suggestions, and hopefully some of the pros might read these and cook one up. Apologies if theres already a thread like this, took a quick look through and didnt see anything similar. I may just be blind though
heres mine:
VS based mutation
Instead of survivors vs infected, you have the original survivors vs the new ones. One pair starts at the beginning safehouse, the other starts at the end of the map(ending SH or if on a finale map, in the rescue vehicle). safehouses are not locked to opposing survivors. On death, respawn will be very short (~10-15 seconds). You will respawn at the nearest available closet or safehouse (opponents spawncamping will make you spawn in the next closest place). Players can freely leave the closet on spawn without assistance.
The object of the game is to find and hold the gnome, which will be placed randomly within the general mid section of the map, for the longest amount of time. I havent really thought of what will actually end the game, apart from a timer
Hordes spawn twice as frequently and SI are bumped to 8 at a time, to compensate for the extra survivors
Essentially, take the Oddball mode from Halo 2, throw zombies in the middle, and you get the idea.
Anyone else have any ideas?

what if we make like a nazi zombie thing a random gun but in zombies so you shoot a zombie and it gives u a new weapon
