Windows seems to be having some major gaming problems these days ever since Windows Vista came out. I know when I had my old computer [running Windows Vista], I had to CONSTANTLY re-install windows with my recovery disks. Only OS I have seen that seem to work properly are the "Ultimate" versions running at a 64-bit rate. (And of course Windows XP in which the games were created for.)

This is why I will not buy a pre-built computer. Iv'e encountered too many problems with my old computer. But not as much as most. I was running Windows Vista Home Premium x64. I prefer to build one of my own from the ground up. This way I can leave all the crap off that is not needed. Like HP and Dell's useless crap software. And I will be running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 when I build my own computer.
