In case you missed it, Steam was majorly down for a portion of today.

Update: Our data center's uninterruptible power supplies experienced a power failure. The power is back on now and we're working to get service restored as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Very uninterruptible, apparently.

Valve, please rake some money off the beds you sleep on at night and buy some UPSs for your UPSs (Yo Dawg...).

I actually didn't mind the cloud being down, it was TF2 vanilla. Nice playing with default items for a change.

It is quite fascinating that, aside from the fact that the servers disappeared, the overall number of users was unchanged; i.e. it follows the same day/night pattern it always does.
