Resonable portions or Super Value Size?

With the latest Map Contest from Valve got me thinking about what makes maps "a good map". I realized a variable that probably cant be accounted for.... team size. So what maps are better with small teams "6v6" or large teams "12v12"?

Depends on what you're designing the map for

If you're say, making a PL map for pubbing, make it 12 v 12 and fairly big, with a good balance of open and urban areas. Badwater is a good example, just imagine it a bit less clustered together.

Turbine Pro...also a good map to look at, takes an existing map and fixes all the nuances.
