I'm almost 110% sure they won't add another class in. Why would they? TF2 is finely balanced at the moment, no one class is stronger than the others (although some like the Soldier and the Engineer could do with an update), and adding a new class while retaining that delicate balance is going to be seriously difficult.

Edit: Looked at the poster and can definitely say nope, that's as fake as it gets. Spelling errors and badly written.

Edit Edit: http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=2851 - shows how much I know. Still don't think that poster's the real deal though. I also doubt it'll be a playable class.

haha i know its insane right? one minute im like...WTH is going on its all lies....then valve put it on their blog site

the thing is they did this with Jarate as a joke and then it ended up being serious

soooooo who knows man.....who knows

the thing is there has been talk for a long time about the 10th class...but people think it might be when you turn into a civilian.. not sure BUT, in L4D on one of the cereal boxes they have put a TF2 advert saying 'COLLECT ALL 10 FIGURINES NOW' or something?!?! and i know Valve like to play games with peoples heads

so who indeed knows whats going to happen.....but i cant wait for the next update... rumour is its either engie or solider ....which is good coz i hate the demospam

The dogupdate is fan made and would take a lot of time and effort on Valve's side to code. And with them being busy with L4D2 and, who knows, perhaps even Episode 3 I think the chances of a ''10th class'' are slim. Extremely slim

yeah i finally worked that one out

but the community are really good at making convincing updates....bastards :rofl:

but yeah im not fussed about the 10th class....and i think aswell the next thing Valve are working on after L4D2 and TF2 updates is Counterstrike2 and portal2
