Some people are saying the mod is buggy still and the mission style isn't what it should be. I mean that it has too much exploration instead of concentrating on getting the hell out of there which is the point of left4dead.

Get this, there is this new giant left4dead mod that snuck under the radar and also released on holloween. It's called COLD CASE and the mod apparently has a lot of innovative tricks up it's sleeve like mutating zombies!
It's a giant mod with 36 maps and I heard the gameplay is great.

How the heck this mod didn't get more coverage during development I just don't know. But I think it's sneak attack is going to take the best l4d mod trophy away from dead before dawn.

I'm going to download cold case ASAP! Everyone should do the same too.

Well I logged on an joined a game... played campaign and got to where it started loading "new dawn" chapter then it crashed. I read the final chapter hadn't been finished yet so not sure if this was it or not. I was playing the whole thing with 500 ping but wasn't impressed with the sounds of witch etc. Sounds too much like a funfair.

I'm having some trouble getting this mod to work ... I'm new to mods and stuff, so I might have made a pretty retarded mistake. But anyway.

So every time I paste the "snd_rebuildaudiocache" command into console it comes up with the load screen as the instructions say it should. It will then not move from this screen after the load bar is full, so I try CTRL ALT DELing out and closing the program.

What am I supposed to do at this point? Close the program from task manager? That's the only solution I can see, and then when I try and join a Dead Before Dawn game it says I don't have it installed...?

My loading bar got to 100% then I left it for 5 mins or so and closed it in task manager.

Rebooted and was able to join a game. Dunno if I can create but wasn't that impressed so not really bothered.

Has this mod been updated or compatible with L4D2? Are any of the L2D1 mods/map compatible with L4D2?
