    whats weird is that when i try to reinstall it, it downloads from the internet when i have the retail disk in.

    Weird, my buddy has this same issue on the 360.

    Well this is the first time I've heard of anyone else having the issue, so I guess it means my friend isn't crazy. He complains at least once every other L4D session about this same problem. Parts of his screen are checkerboarded purple, or pictures of the Survivors or the map in the lobby. Anyone got any ideas for him on how to fix this for the 360 version?
