    That's happened for several versions of the game now and not all of the time. It's just something you see - others are unaffected. Restart your TF2 and it should work like normal.

    what about launching someone in the air from a soldier blast and they die from falling damage, thats certainty possible

    Don't forget about the train.
    There seems to also be a "Player" kill... I bet that's "Telefragging" or whatever was mentioned.

    How Realism Should've Been?

    I love Realism mode, but I was wondering how you'd make it more realistic?

    • Change the hud so you can only see your health.
    • No SI at all.
    • The CI a bit less common, as you wouldn't find 1000 zombies in the middle of nowhere, like in Swamp Fever.
    • Headshot ONLY. None of this "Less damage to the body" stuff. Headshot/Decapitation ONLY will kill it.
    • Skill level would change how much damage CI do, where the items are etc. Not how much damage they could take.
    • No halos at all, no matter how close you are to an item.
    • Hordes smaller to counter the headshot only.
    • Removing limbs would only slow infected down, unless all were removed, then they could only do damage if you're stood on them.
    • Pill/Adrenaline Overdose. Vision goes blurry, controls limited a bit like when attacked by a jockey etc. Continuing to use more pills and Adrenaline increases this effect.
    I'm an idiot and I can't follow directions. So now I'm also banned.

    2nd - people won't stop b!tchin' about realism. Honestly, I know you're just telling your opinion and stuff, and what you think would make this mode better. I am just sick of people on the steam forums "WAHHHH! I'm important WAHHHHH listen to me complain summore!! WAHHHH!" It just gets old after a while.

    Anyways, back on topic, I think that it is fine the way that it is. I know some people want it to be more realistic, like, completely identical to real life. Heres the thing:Its a video game! And a zombie game at that! More people would complain if it were more realistic as opposed to how it is now

    1) I realised that after posting it, so don't get arsey.

    2) Yes. It's my opinion. And I've asked how you'd do it, so yeah, great that you think it's fine, just don't say I'm bitching for making a thread. I know full well that it's a Zombie Video game, but Realism isn't really "realistic" (ie. not adhering to the basic rules of Zombie fiction a lot of the time) atm.

    If players don't want Realism to be "realistic" don't play Realism. Play Campaign. I expected realism to follow the basic (even if it's the DotD07 Zombie's) rules of Zombie fiction, like removing the head/headshots only would kill it.

    These would definatly make it more realistic. Is there a point though where it gets to realistic for a game though? I like all of those ideas though. If you were going to add these in, maybe make the CI a lot less and give them the ability to bite, and if you get bit you have a certain amount of time to make it to the saferoom before turning into an infected and the other survivors have to kill you. Maybe add some vials that would replace health kits that you could use to reverse the effects once you are bitten. Or make it where you can only be bitten if you reached what is compared to being incapped. that way you can't be bit with 98 health.

    lol sorry k. Its not even here its just on the steam forums. Makes me want to go f'in ballistic.

    EDIT ^ that would just make the whole concept of teamwork fly out of the window, plus valve already stated that they are never going to do that, so no luck there.

    CI+SI attack should also be calculated depending on where they hit the survivor's anatomy rather than a fixed amount.
