    Nope i have uninstalled the game twice, and restored all the settings to default also, no add-on maps either

    i have played 500 hours of l4d without crosshair dissapearing, so can it have something to do that i changed color,dynamics and also thickness?

    Yea, could be. When you reinstalled, did you delete the local content first, then reinstall? It may have left some settings behind that are hosing up your crosshair. When I uninstall, I actually go to Windows Explorer and delete the directories so I make sure they are actually gone.

    You can also try deleting the VIDEO.TXT file that is in your CFG folder and let it recreate itself.
