So the other night the map was gravel pit.

Set to be a good match, talent on both sides.

Im a medic on offense. Sweet time to get my Uber on and rush some points.

That was the plan, at least.

B backs us off, defense is hard. We switch to A. Take it easy enough.
We know B is locked off hard, so we go by route of C to pester them to give us some time or a break.
I end up there with 2 demos. They procede to sticky the doors. Both of them. They would come out, do some damage to the demos, get blow to bits, then I would heal the demos. We charged and used two Ubers while there. Two Ubers to camp spawn. It was beautiful. But cruel. I am torn on this.
It makes perfect sense to camp and rip the defense apart at the start. But I know had I been on the other team I would not have had much fun.
However I enjoyed doing it. Only way to break out would have been to charge an Uber inside spawn and rush out as a group. Poor guys.
Know that I am sorry for it, but understand how perfect it works.

PS. If Im ever on D and you camp spawn, I will be building an Uber up for you ass...

It's that chump team's fault for letting you do that shit to them so don't feel bad. The rules are clear on spawn camping, and you're well within them.

It's also far from impossible to defend against, and really shouldn't even require an uber. All it takes is one guy to take one (or many stickies :P) for the team and someone else behind him to clean up the demo. Chumps. I'm gonna have to take a break from COD4 and show you bitches how to play TF2 all over again.

Timing alone for ONE individual could do it... If you'd just used your uber, and someone (or two) popped out, you could've been shut right down. If the D was as coordinatied as you guys were, it wouldn't have lasted too long. I hope, and believe that at least one of those folks you spawn camped got an idea in their head in case it happened again.

Yep, I was one of the demo's lol. Its very easy to counter and normally only works on people the first death. but they didn't work as a team so we took advantage of that. Good work, ill do it all day till folks get it right.

The wrong side - exactly on that map with people doing the same thing. Finally a scout ran out, took the stickies, then a medic and I (A heavy, of course) came out and wiped the earth with them. Took a bit to get someone to take the stickies, though - I wanted to do it, but they wanted to "save the heavy" to blitz B with an uber.

The other side ...

2Fort, Heavy+Medic pinning people in spawn while scouts run intel. Again, like Spaz said, it's not hard to defeat - just get offensive - but people don't seem to take that sort of thing to mind and do something about it.

I think I got 12-15 kills in one life doing that.

So - confession is good for the soul. You haven't done anything wrong.

However, I, on the other hand, discovered mimosa last night on NYE with the wife and learned that playing drunk is ... fun, nauseating, and entertaining.

if your stuck in spawn because of spawn campers on 2fort, you can force yourself to spawn at the other location by switching classes while stuck in your spawn. This allows you to get out of spawn and attack the spawn campers from an angle they are not expecting.

Oh yes, I've done this before but it seems whenever I would try to get another demo to come help me they would never come...But yeah the other team can EASILY counter that...

I had some fun with that last night.. minus the girl drinks.

Dude, I got totally annihilated last night... 2 kegs, 5 bottles of champagne, my girlfriend, couple of bottle rockets, and sparklers...
