Thread: Uber-Engineer Story

So there we was... it was hydro... it was sudden death. I'd got my engineer role to fill, and busied muhself defendin'. Like yer typical engineer, I was very industrious, and built all manner of technological doodads, hittin' things with muh wrench, and hittin' 'em again. Soon enough, I'd built all I knew how, and propped my feet up 'till I had another job to do... That's when things was startin' to get all funny... There was hardly a soul in sight, and I thought to muhself,

".....where is everybody?....."

It seems the majority of muh team's killin' machine classes had perished in a horrifyin', brutal, body parts flyin' everywhere kinda fire fight. There was little left aside from muhself and a damn doctor. (Styley? was that you?) My team had not died all in vain however, as the "other" side had but a few left as well...

I was lost in self pity... not knowin' what to do or where to go. It seemed like we was just waitin' there to die, when suddenly that doc just piped right up,
"Jabber!? Where are you? I've got an Uber!"
At first I thought he was crazy...
"An engineer?! What am I gonna do... BLEED on them?!"
Slowly though, realisation wheedled its way in through my slopin', sweaty engineer brow, and I saw that I had what could be formidable weapons in my hands... I had a shottie... I had a pistola... I had me a wrench... I had me some kinda REALLY big yellow glove that served no real purpose, but MAN is that thing intimidatin'!

That medic and I, well... I tell ya, we charged on in there and shot the damn dog shit right out of their mouths! They saw me all glowin' red, with muh big yellow glove, and were too damn scared to run! I may have done the shooting, but that medic... He was calling the shots. There was a dead sniper, a dead demoman, and prob'ly more, but that's where my recollectin' gets hazy. Heat of the battle and all, y'know? When the shootin' stopped the remnants of my team was relaxin' on the enemy CP, just waitin' for some victory music... It don't get no sweeter than an Ubered engineer moppin' the floors with enemy intestines!






*Thanks to that medic... (Styley?.... Was that you?!) for proving that an ubered engineer isn't always as stupid as he looks.

Funny story tho

That's hilarious. The only thing funnier I've ever seen is when a medic on the other team ubered a sniper in desperation. Didn't get them anywhere.
