I'm a big fan of WaW i love everything about it except the ridiculous veteran grenade spamming. I'm a little confused though, are you playing the campaign on veteran to get the death cards and the vet cheevos?
Because if you are i'm warning you not to bother it is way too much of a pain in the ass and I eventually gave up on the "Heart of the Reich" level. Get the death card's they are a piece of cake to find on recruit.
Oh and if you haven't done it yet try getting the "Gunslinger" achievement. Shooting the general from 1/4 mile away with a pistol is very satisfying.

Nah I've tried MW2 and Bad Company 2 but ended up selling those too. It has something to do with my eyes. Those games were better than WAW but burn my eyes for some reason. Maybe too much on the screen at once, I dunno but my left eye gets bloodshot to the left of the pupil when i play those games. Feels like I strain the eye.
Halo was the first game I played when I first purchased my 360 the day the system was released so naturally I became addicted cuz it was my first game I played since the atari jaguar cd system. Then came Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST. I heard about gears of war 2 so I tried it and fell in love. I like the tactical style of fighting and movements of that game.
My buddy bought me L4D for my bday cuz he figured I would like it since Zombies go a long way in my family cuz of my uncle so I played it and been playing it since, plus the 2nd one.

Nah, I tried on regular, but I kept dying. They spawn a lot, and I get impatience since I beat the last level like 6 times, but it never saved, so yeah.
I don't know where General Amsel is, but I beat it's close to the ending.
I'm kind of trying to beat CoD4 and MW2 on Veteran, but it's so hard.
My MW2 doesn't work though, disc is unreadable. Worked fine one day, then next day, pooped out right in the middle.

Halo 1 and 2 are the only ones I like, but I don't play Halo. They lost me when I tried Halo 3. Gears of War 2 was fun, when I borrowed it. I wish I could play it. Weird how the movement is, but it works somehow.

I watched a video because I was trying to find where General Amsel was.
He's on Vendetta, which I can do, I believe...
And I can see why you said "Satisfying" because damn, that is going to be hard to kill with a pistol and not a sniper. But I'm gonna try. Come on, Lady Luck!
