There is something else i want to bring up. I have noticed that nearly every time i get hit with a melee weapon i get crited! Is there some sort of secret to this, i mean shit. I saw captain coors run into the right house on the second cap of dustbowl and got 4 crit melee's in a row, i swear.... Yet, whenever i go in for melee, ill be lucky if i get 2 crits an entire round and ive been meleeing a lot lately.

And the spy fix is bullshit, tractor backstabbed me from the front twice on Badlands yesterday.

The Crit rate for melee is something like 25%. Statistically it is likely that every once and a while you get an insane string of them.

Hi there, i have a very annoying problem with the game
after 6 months of not playing it, i have installed it again, but now i have a big problem, the games freezes every 10 seconds and sound loops for like 30 seconds, and sometimes crashes to desktop.
i have tried all the fixes i could find on the internet :
Fix 1 : Disable multicore rendering
Fix 2 : mat_queue_mode 0 (this is an unknown command)
Fix 3 : Update Nvidia Drivers to Beta 195.39
Fix 4 : Disable in-game steam community
Fix 5 : changing all settings to low

nothing have worked for me...

My system information:

Windows 7 32-bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 2.33 GHz 2.33 GHz
4GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 9800 GT 512 GDDR3 from PNY

Please anyone help me, i really want to kill some zombies xD

Update your Drivers to the latest stable version, not the beta.

Right click on L4D2 in the Games List in your Library, then click Properties, then Local Files, then "Verify Integrity of Game Cache." See if that needs to redownload anything.
