right. the easiest is to simply join the steam group, which will then let you see the servers when you login to your game...like scrolling at the bottom when you're at the main menu.

We made the script/console/bind ways because we wanted to ensure that, when creating a lobby, that lobby would send us to a TPG server (one that is statistically tracked where we can see it, admin'd, etc).

the binds are useful, but at the minimum, just join the steam group linked in the first post.

perhaps fair isn't the right word, but I understand.

I'm not sure if a server can have multiple steam groups associated with it. doing a search in steam forums doesn't yield much. if it's possible we can add it, but given these are TPG servers, paid for and run by TPG admins/community, they'll have to remain TPG steamgroup servers.

doesn't harm anyone to be members of both groups.

who are the owners of the L4DF group (the big, 400+ member one)? neomaven? molson?

I've friended them both in steam. I'll need to be made an admin of the group, if its our "official" group. If you guys are friends with them get them to check on the group page and promote my ID.

I wish I could play on PC...=(
