A tip against soldiers: Kobe that rocket!

Seen the new Kobe Bryant viral commercial where he "jumps" over the zooming car?

The same principle applies to soldiers.

If you see a soldier coming at you firing at your feet, run toward him and jump over those rockets!

Even if they hit the ground right under you, much of the damage will be mitigated by you being ABOVE it instead of IN it.

And yes jumping helps. If your fighting a soldier with Pyro the best strategy is to give him a nice good burning then back away "JUMPING" and shooting wildly with the shotgun. The Soldier will easily shoot his feet and kill you if you stay too close so this is the best course of action since he's already hurt and burning and having a hard time hitting you since your fast and jumping. Also move in a wide left to right strafing pattern to keep them guessing so they can't shoot ahead of your path. This works even against Smokin

I find that timing helps out alot as well. As a scout I get blown up pretty easily. But iv played enough soldier to know how long it takes to shoot a 2nd rocket. So after the first I can double jump around to escape his following shots.
