    So, we know about the medics - what about the rest of the classes?

    36 achievements for each class (using the medic as a predictor of future events) and 3 additional unlocks...

    What are your ideas for your favorite class - both in achievements and unlocks?

    I'll start -

    Spy:

    Master of Disguise - get a backstab as every class

    Soldier:

    Crit-Tastic - kill 4 enemies with a single crit rocket

    Rambo - Kill 1,000,000 enemies with the shovel




    uhhh......that's all I got - some of you are creative though, what can you come up with?

    -Achievments:
    Uber-snipe: Kill 1,000,000 enemies as a sniper.
    Outback smack: Get 10 kills with machete in one round.
    -Unlocks:
    Quick-snipe: Semi-auto sniper rifle avalible after all 36 of unlocks
    Crit-machine: Increase chance of crit with machine gun-avalible after half of unlocks
    Roo-smacker: Faster speed for machete, avalible after 10 of unlocks

    The problem with those unlocks is that there is no trade-off. Why would I want to use the original sniper over your new semi-auto?

    Not all of these medic unlocks are "better" they are just "different".

    Onto my engy Ideas.

    Flamethrower Sentry: A sentry that excels at close range combat but has no range.

    Sniper Sentry: Sentry that has a larger range, but also a minimum fire range where enemies can find safe haven within a 20 foot radius of the sentry.

    Health Dispensor: Heals at a faster Rate, but gives no ammo pickups.

    Agreed

    I was thinking you could unlock a rifle that doesn't need to charge, but has a slower reload and less zoom. So you kind of use it like a rail gun.

    The SMG can go the way of the medic gun. No crits but it can heal you. Also same as the machete, land 4 blows with it and your next shot is a max power crit.

    When the unlocks for the medic was announced, I was kinda disappointed they didn't have an unlockable that could revive a teammate. They could've had a defibrillator where a medic has to be near a dead teammate and hold down left click to revive him in 3sec. For a trade off, how about a new heal gun where you build a meter to have the ability to revive one teammate instantly. Other than that, I think they did an all right job with the unlocks (could've been better).

    The spy is my favorite class; so ever since valve announced the unlocks, I've been getting ideas on what the spy's unlocks could be.

    1) cigar case: It replaces the cigarette case. You can feign death like you could do in tfc. You can also toss a cigar in the ground and create a smoke grenade affect like in cs.

    2) bug/listening device: It replaces the sapper and is half its size. You use it like you would sap a sg, but you use it on the enemy player. Once you attach the bug on him, you can hear everything he says on the mic and whatever he types in team chat. For it to be effective, it's best to attach it on their legs. Maybe have it so only a melee weapon can knock the bug off once someone realizes its on him.

    3) a new type of gun or better knife, still haven't thought of something good

    Some achievements to mess around with:

    in yo face- get 10 consecutive face stabs that register as an insta-kill in one life /sarcasm

    beam me up- have an enemy medic uber you

    traffic jam- stand on an enemy tele (while in disguise) for at least 8sec

    heal me- accumulate 1million hp from an enemy medic

    duty calls- have 5enemies call for medic (have to be disguised as one) in one life span

    Et tu, Brute?- backstab a medic after he has healed you

    paranoia- While in disguise, use the radio command to accuse a teammate of theirs of being a spy [achievement is credited once someone on their team attacks the accused].

    a view to kill- Disguise as an enemy sniper and stand infront of an enemy sniper, obstructing his view [achievement is credited if he maneuvers around you and not if he kills you].

    live another day- survive the humiliation period

    sentry jacking- Disguise as an engy and stand on top of the enemy sg as if it was your own.

    I've actually done traffic jam. It took them at least 10sec before they realized I wasn't one of their own. I've also done a view to kill (saved someone's life) and paranoia during the humiliation period.

    Attach to joe_crow, enemy team's plans revealed!

    It should be harder to see than the sapper otherwise it is useless maybe like a small dot or somthing inconspicous but can be seen on the back of the person or where ever it was placed.

    Those ideas for spy are really good ideas come valve see the genious of this thread! (except for my post, I had no idea on sniper unlocks so I went for the best )

    I dont think the listening device will work.... How many people can you plant it on? Will it blink or anything? Will it go away when they die? It seems like a very short term item... and to loose the ability to disguise for this? Kinda unbalanced...
