I wish steam was available for OSX. I mean... how many more accounts would they pick up? Well obviously not enough to justify coding. I guess games would need to be cross platform too. Though I wish I could just run client on OSX, which in turn would yield no benefit to vALVE. I know I can doo boot camp or crossover, but I love OSX, so far superior to MS bullshit. Im a graphic designer (illustrator by trade and education) and I LIVE on my mac, I have a lonely PC a home for gaming, but the majority of time I post here and spend online is on my mac, or my mac at home.

If vALVE released Steam and TF2 for OSX I would pay 100$. I love my 8 core Mac Pro =D

TF2 is supposedly supported. I was actually thinking about getting it myself for my Mac laptop, since it's actually better than my desktop.

Honestly, I really don't hate mac's so much as their terribly irritating ad campaigns.

Seriously, if you were dealing with any other company, you could not publicly smear their product like Apple is with windows. Your ass would be sued so fast. But Apple gets away with it from all the sanctions the government has on them. That just annoys me to no end.

With bootcamp, it's a moot point. If you want to play games only available to Windows, install Windows via bootcamp. Most current Intel-based MACs have decent hardware and have ATI/nVidia video upgrades/options. To be honest, if it weren't for gaming (and the premium $$$ that Apple puts on their hardware) I'd be using a MAC myself.

True that.

Macs are very high quality, and the more powerful ones have plenty of video card for gaming. Slap Win XP on there and go to town.

If I had $$$ I would have a mac also... actually I have several but they are little bit old (a IIci, a Mac Plus!, etc...) I need to clean out my basement.
